I held my breath Waiting for abort mission To make its way to me but There was only silence Out on the launch pad I finally broke: "See you around." "Okay." she whispered back to me Were those tears in her eyes? I can't remember I stepped through the door And just like that I was a million miles away

My Last Day on Earth
I held my breath Waiting for abort mission To make its way to me but There was only silence Out on the launch pad I finally broke: "See you around." "Okay." she whispered back to me Were those tears in her eyes? I can't remember I stepped through the door And just like that I was a million miles away
I have been adrift ever since.
