i walk a tightrope of emotions teetering, trying to keep my balance leaning too far to the left results in sobs that tear my soul apart and a searing pain in my heart i know can never be taken away falling slightly to the right causes me to laugh long and loud. maybe a little too loud. and for a little too long. but i laugh. i struggle to keep a delicate balance of the things i could not express even if the whole sea was ink and the sky a piece of paper. but sometimes the balance tilts dangerously to the left. it is in these moments that i wish i didn't have to keep this balance.
