Your heart so fragile Your eyes so delicate as morning wind I woke to find you Reading by candle light The way you found me It's as though we’ve been searching all our lives And I know there was so much more to be given But I left you alone that night That was when I found myself someone better All the promising I would never become my father I wish I would’ve treated you better So on my mantle I wouldn’t be displaying your letters

Your Letters
Your heart so fragile Your eyes so delicate as morning wind I woke to find you Reading by candle light The way you found me It's as though we’ve been searching all our lives And I know there was so much more to be given But I left you alone that night That was when I found myself someone better All the promising I would never become my father I wish I would’ve treated you better So on my mantle I wouldn’t be displaying your letters
