I used to be in love with what you made of me Blinded by the light of everything you did Thought I was being smart Wouldn't let him break my heart But the decisions I made made it easier for me to break Why was it such a high cost to learn a simple lesson Why must I fall apart for you to fall back together into one One heart, one piece And I can't help wondering Wasn't it better, oh so much sweeter when there were two of us?

I used to write poems as lyrics to songs never perfomed
