I need a noise filter for my brain To separate the useless, from what I can explain Stop all the chatter, write poems with the rest Maybe that will make the next one my best Chasing rhymes, forgetting the good finds Back and forth, between all of my minds One with direction, another has my heart Together the others just pull me apart Stop it now, I’m trying to write The rest of you shut the hell up and don’t fight Let me get this one, that’s all I need for now More will come later, someday, somehow 4/02/26

For all the ADD poets out there. I hear the noise too. I’ve read this multiple times, I don’t know If I’m supposed to laugh, cry, or take myself seriously.
