i wish i was prettier
though i've been called
pretty many times
in many days.
but pretty to them,
isn't pretty to me.
we aren't supposed to live off
of what others think.
we are supposed to live
off what we love
about ourselves.
because if we don't love ourselves,
we can't love another.
if i were prettier,
i could love you better.
