Down where the grass was green, We swam with ducks In the artificial lake Artificial blue, Turned green with algae I'd let you ride my skateboard Always holding your hands We were both scared that you'd fall, And despite how tired I was You'd drag me onto the playground I preferred the cool breeze In the shade of leaves and trees that we were climbing, You fell And I asked if you were ok You said "yes" And then you started crying
