If only you knew, that I brace myself each time you exhale. With no warning, I open my heart with an attempt to comprehend the kaleidoscope of emotion that will begin to pour out from the depths of your heart, leaving no chance of escape in sight; inevitably consuming mine. Forcing me to confront all of the things that I struggle to keep buried.
