More than friends?
oh I wish
When I look at you
And your smile
A burst of happiness explodes
leaping miles and miles
before dispersing
Being replaced by a piercing pain
In my hopeful heart
Because
I want us to be more
than friends
But don't want to wreck
or bring an end
to what we already have
So until I can build
Up courage and might
And do away with fear and doubt
I'll treasure
our friendship
for evermore
