that's the music from oblivion you told me smiling when we stood at the crosswalk edges of our umbrellas just barely touching; the car's speakers muffled by your overwhelming voice- i didn't know you but you flicked rain at me and we laughed and i tried hard to smile for you since you deserved one from me you tucked back your pretty hair and walked across the street and turned the corner and i don't remember if i ever saw you again
