minutes before the bell was to ring, i sat down in the seat that i sat in every other morning. the one that was partially by the window and near you at the same time, and the way the light reflected of your skin and into my eyes set the mood and made my day better just like that. but, as the bell rang you were not to be found and so i sat and wondered where you were and when you'd come back. and moments after those thoughts occured, i remembered that you'll never mentally come back, because you called us quits.
