Feelings of you thriving inside of me, It’s unbearable to believe. A hurt heart with desires you must flee, Where I am broken and to grieve. Will I see you again and run away, In darkness as I fear mirror? Our secrets to burn out dusk into day, Revealing everything clearer. Distance between us and bitter we wait, Denial over each other. Picked up pieces of my flesh now as bait, Frolicked before and to smother. Phobia willing to bite and to taste, Enslaving to engulf our souls as baste.
