This touched a nerve with me. I have been cheated on once before - my first love 2 years ago. I should have seen it coming but I was too in love - this is a great poem and good for everyone to know you're there for them.

A poem that most of us can relate to. It seems we've
had this happen at one time or another.  Cleverly put I like the ongoing rhythm and the repeated words almost like a chant to ward away evil.  Excellent work. :o)

It's impossible for me to ever take a cheater back! It's not a question of "Would I?" - It's a question of "Could I?" And the answer would be 100% absolutely NO! It would be totally impossible, with absolutely no exceptions whatsoever! It's simply not possible, because every cell in my body would instantly become so extensively grossed out, turned off, and hurt beyond any possible degree of any measurably gauge in existence, that to me, it would be like cuddling up to a fungus...! Every single time I looked at her, all I would see would be a contaminated cum-spittoon. I would also feel an immeasurable deep disgrace to be seen in public with her...! And, if the tables were turned, and I was the one who had done the cheating, I would expect her to feel these exact same justifiable feelings in equally catastrophic proportions toward me...! 

Thus, if she could just be compassionate enough to grant me only one final requisition, prior to her cheating on me... I would pray that she would consider entertaining the idea of just one final ultimate act of extreme mercy and kindness... (Or, a subjective sarcasm, depending upon your point of view?)

Please, my love, before you stray - Please, please, please, I hope that thee, would please, "Blow My Brains Out...!" Allowing me to hopefully circumvent a substantial portion of experiencing such an excruciating lengthy pain...? Yet I, myself, would never take my own life... While you, on the other hand, woman, may then be condemned to relive what you did to me, or possibly what you deserve...? 

Many of our world's organized beliefs, which many I do thoroughly respect, may rightfully not approve of such behaviorism, or might not completely understand them...? However, the truly spiritual, the shamans, the renown mediums, as well as many of the non-materialistic authentic psychics may be more willing to accept when certain higher entities, during particular circumstances, can get involved and either choose to exonerate certain individuals, or sought out immediate retributions...

I say these things only because in my world death is merely an illusion, we generally just pass on to a higher and much more beautiful plane... 

Although, regardless of any believes, the bulk of what I wrote is meant to be interpreted hypothetically... Yet still, many truths are spoken in jest...

I realize now why I didn't leave that much of a comment last--it was about girls who got cheated on. Sorry I passed this up though! This is a truly uplifting piece hat surely speaks volumes to dozens of girls on here, I'm sure. I can't be too personal, as I'm clearly outside of your intended demographics, but I found this to be truly awesome after rereading! The flow was awesome and the use of white space was superb. It's one thing to be looking to make a relationship and another once you find your love to go out for another even if they give you their heart ... Love is not just a desire ... We have to look beyond that

Let's say I'm playing devil's advocate... I understand that cheating in a mutually understood monogamous relationship is wrong, but I'm highly curios...why do you (this is directed at anyone) think monogamy is such a powerful widespread idea? With all the possibilities in the world why do so many feel drawn to a committed long term relationship? If you are an advocate of monogamy, do you believe in 'soul mates'

Im not, im a girl, just cause I stand up for a certain sex doesnt mean im part of it. But why is this poem so gender specific, I dont see why you couldnt name it, " to all the *people* who've been cheated on". Or something not so gender specific.
