I can still feel the grass tickle my hand There you are beside me in the forest We run around without fear of who we might run into The three forests never scared us We peered through metal sewers Where did Michaelangelo go? We dug up all the dirt in the front Wondering when we would reach China In the rain we played, but not with boots, raincoats or umbrellas Instead the summer showers were warm enough for us to wear our bathing suits We stayed up late, whispering feelings We always shared a room Our dolls, though poor, were loved by us We made clothes from marker colored socks That house was housing but we were rich It was always me and you What else can I ask for sister? Time stands stood still with you
