"How are you?" You asked. I didn't exist before you asked. "How was your day?" you asked. dark, as if the sun had never sparked. "Throughout the day, what did you see?" Just an old man, staring blankly at me. You never said, "Do you still feel?" Was hurting me the only test for thee? "What do you do? What is your task?" I build my prison, trap my soul in bars of steel. "Where is your heart?" you demand Not with me, if not with you, where should I turn around? "What do you have for me?" you said, aspired. Let me count my pieces and see what is left. "Something is still missing," you said after you inquired. Yes indeed! the lost parts of me that no one required.
