But when I finally get where you are..
You and your shadow are gone..
As night has taken over...
I promise myself to try the next day...
As I've done for as long as time has existed...
And for as long as time exists...
For I love you too much to stop trying...
And I take solace in the fact that at least we are on the same earth...
Knowing you are on this earth is enough of a gift for me...
