I look up into the sky Upon the moon and stars so high Idle yet twinkling there And I think...it's not so fair The future I see lies dim Much unlike the light still seen All of them...too far to reach... My dream torn for each... But my heart still beats doesn't it Pulsing...something as it sees fit Something warm...something great Shouting loud against fate I won't just sit down and die I won't just lie here and cry I've got a life still to live This hope I've got to give!

far-flung dream
I look up into the sky Upon the moon and stars so high Idle yet twinkling there And I think...it's not so fair The future I see lies dim Much unlike the light still seen All of them...too far to reach... My dream torn for each... But my heart still beats doesn't it Pulsing...something as it sees fit Something warm...something great Shouting loud against fate I won't just sit down and die I won't just lie here and cry I've got a life still to live This hope I've got to give!
