I look up into the sky
Upon the moon and stars so high
Idle yet twinkling there
And I think...it's not so fair
The future I see lies dim
Much unlike the light still seen
All of them...too far to reach...
My dream torn for each...
But my heart still beats doesn't it
Pulsing...something as it sees fit
Something warm...something great
Shouting loud against fate
I won't just sit down and die
I won't just lie here and cry
I've got a life still to live
This hope I've got to give!

For the first time, I open my eyes
Gazing above onto starry skies
With hands held up to reach
This beauty I watch on high
And now on these grassy plains I see
The cosmos with lights so free
Sitting down, I smile
Along these stars that fly
Always with me aren't they
Shining after the day
And I know...
I know I'll never say goodbye~

I wonder how it must feel
To be left and forgotten
To have a heart turn to steel
Amidst a tempest so rotten
A storm of emotions unbidden
Of fear grown bloated, grown sick
Of a soul quite silent, quite hidden
This fire raging, dying so quick
To be snuffed out, this passionate flame
Let it die, let it break,
Let it twist and turn in shame
All attempts so fake.
All tries, all hopes, crushed and forlorn
An idea given up, given nothing, yet was born
Embraced with cold, embraced with apathy
