I woke this morning and found You near,
A whisper of love that dries every tear.
In my heart, Your promises shine,
You cherish me, and Your plans are divine.
I gaze into the mirror and see my past,
Tears once falling, shadows that lasted.
But now Your grace surrounds my soul,
Sheltering me, making me whole.
A quiet confidence You’ve placed inside,
A steadfast truth I no longer hide.
You fan the flame of hope in me,
And keep my spirit burning free.
Lord, You do not watch from afar,
You’ve walked with me through every scar.
You’ve seen my pain, heard every cry,
And tenderly heal me when I sigh.
You are God, my Lover, my Guide,
In You alone, I safely abide.
I am secured, alive, renewed,
Held in the depths of Your endless truth.
