My world turned upside down
When I got the news today
I was left in shock
Without a word to say
To know I could have lost you
To know you could have died
To know I was not there
Standing by your side
Hurts me so deep
It cuts my flesh bare
To know I should have made an effort
To show you I care
I was sick to my stomach
As I heard you struggled alone
I cant stand you hurting so deep
Knowing your pain has grown
I realised what life is
I realised what you mean
Your an amazing man
I have ever seen
I'll do my best from now on
To prove my words are true
I'll stay, come hell or high water
Because I just simply.... care about you
