I hate the way you color my life Now my vibrant blues shade in The gaps you've left behind And my rosiest pinks are Dull And sorrowful Your essence fills the space It paints with my tears And blends with my pain Tumultuous dark blurs On pearly white canvas It paints disdain Disgust Nostalgia you've ruined for me And experiences which will never be the same It paints until I fall asleep And wakes with me to paint again
