I gaze upon the stars,
and I am always in awe
because something that
doesn't look complex, is
as complex as the world.
Like a watch that tells us the time,
the earth is made up of many things
that work together to give us
water, land, food, something
complex.
Like my future,
something I can not fathom
something I do not wish to fathom.
I want to one day look up to the sky
and thank Allah for willing
me something, that will hopefully come
from love.
I want to one day,
have children with who I can
love the same way that my parents
bestowed upon me.
My Future.
I will gaze upon the stars
