The glimmer in his eyes, Like the moon reflected in a silent lake. He jitters, roiling like an angry bull, Yet gentler, softer, ecstatic for your presence. The warmth of a body nestled close, Comforted by touch and care, And showing love just as such, The only way he knows. Who'd dare to break your heart, little pup?

Little Pup
The glimmer in his eyes, Like the moon reflected in a silent lake. He jitters, roiling like an angry bull, Yet gentler, softer, ecstatic for your presence. The warmth of a body nestled close, Comforted by touch and care, And showing love just as such, The only way he knows. Who'd dare to break your heart, little pup?
