Across the dust of time I rose and ran,
A spark entrusted to the soul of man;
From clay I shaped a crown, from thought a throne,
Yet every crown declared: “You’re not your own.”
I conquered lands—then meanings—then the sky,
And questioned stars with an unwearied “why?”
Each answer opened depths yet more profound,
A circling chain no final edge has found.
From fire to wheel, from wheel to soaring flight,
I grasped the secrets veiled in day and night;
I split the hidden, mastered force and flame,
Yet lost myself while magnifying name.
This mind—this tireless architect of fate—
Builds shining worlds, then calls its labour “great”;
Each solved enigma binds a finer thread,
A silken chain the restless spirit led.
What is this self that rises, seeks, aspires?
A trust divine that kindles inward fires;
Not made to fade, nor scatter into air,
But grow in strength—and conscious truth declare.
The chain is this: to know, to rise, to strive,
To shape the world, to feel the thought alive;
Yet deeper still, beneath all outward art,
There beats submission in the conscious heart.
For knowledge grows—but cannot grant you peace,
Its light expands, yet does not bring release;
It shows the path that stretches far and wide,
But not the hand in which all paths reside.
O’ man of reason, lifted by your aim,
Have you discerned the meaning of your claim?
Each triumph whispers, quiet and refined:
“You conquer worlds—but not your inner mind.”
The final link in every seeking chain
Lies not in glory, sovereignty, or gain;
It breaks when will, made steadfast, freely stands—
Then bows in trust within the Eternal Hands.
Not loss of self—but height of self attained,
Through discipline, through purpose deeply gained;
A will aligned, yet burning bright and true,
In serving One, it finds its noblest view.
So rise, create, let intellect expand,
Let time be shaped beneath your striving hand;
Yet know—the height no earthly power has won
Is where the self stands firm—and turns to One.
For all your chains of thought, refined, aware,
Still lead towards a truth beyond compare:
The crown of wisdom, destiny’s true role—
Is yielding will—while strengthening the soul.
