She sat at a bench in the park Listening to the dogs bark It was a beautiful day in spring But she couldn't feel a thing She wasn't expecting to see A little crack in destiny You walked along the trees Humming together with the bees Searching for about nothing And that was when you heard her sing You didn't think it could be A little crack in destiny She looked up and you were there She pretended that she didn't care You barely heard the song of bird Haunted like a hidden word But you couldn't see A little crack in destiny They talked for hours as they roamed Wasn't able to find their home You felt it hit even before you heard All of her confessing words Didn't care about reality Trapped in a little crack in destiny She was almost there by your side As you woke up in the night But you couldn't feel her smell Trapped inside your little shell You fell helplessly Into a little crack in destiny

A Little Crack In Destiny
