Lost in a sea I swam through eternity Only to find her With someone else, not me I said, "Why him? I love you too." She said in reply, "I love him more than I love you." I told her she didn't make any sense She answered to me, "But we're just good friends." As I opened my mouth to bid her farewell She opened her lips and her lover did as well As they neared each other and closed their eyes I stood there like a fool, and said my goodbyes A few years later I saw her again I told myself, "Oh she was a good friend." But as our eyes met, hers filled with tears "He left me for another one, he was forced by his peers" I answered her, "I'm sorry, can't help you." Little did she know that she broke my heart in two.
