What is asking to come back to you?
Since the day you died,
I haven't missed you one bit.
You are everywhere I look,
Like a lost dog begging to come back home.
You did this to yourself,
Like an addict begging for more,
Running back to the needle.
You always make your way back to me.
Every single time that I get rid of you,
You are like the flu—
When I think you are finally gone,
You come back when I least expect it.
You set up that rope,
And you kicked the chair,
And you dared to have the nerve
To blame it on me.
