A word your mother said that you say now, too.
What have I said that my mother did not say before?
Every word that leaves my lips-
every sound, every thought, it comes from her.
My mother: The Goddess, the farmer,
she was the one who planted the seed of soul in my body.
She watered it with her mind and nourished it with her love,
and from her own life grew another.
My mother: My home, my place of origin,
she will always be the roots of my beginning and end.
Every word of mine is a descendant of hers;
since the first "Mama" ever said.
