Describe a weight you carry that has no name.
Every time I do something,
there is a weight on my back.
It's the people I know,
whom I hear inside my head:
"Don't do that"
"That is wrong"
"You are dumb if you do it"
"You aren't enough—
you've never been and
you never will".
That weight—
It sometimes is so heavy that
I can't even walk.
It holds me back:
Every person is a judge
and every action is a crime.
What is the punishment?
Eternal ostracism,
mockeries, insults—
people looking down
from inside my head.
