Describe a weight you carry that has no name.
i can feel the decay,
receding gums,
words that refuse to stay.
i can feel the decay,
a slow forgetting,
memories thinning into dismay.
i can feel the decay
as i grind down
on the weight i consume,
hoping, still, i pray.
quiet pine
