A spring orbit. Something is loosening. This week we turn toward what is coming back, and what we are finally ready to let come back.

Harshness vanished. A sudden softness
has replaced the meadows' wintry grey.
Little rivulets of water changed
their singing accents. Tendernesses,

hesitantly, reach toward the earth
from space, and country lanes are showing
these unexpected subtle risings
that find expression in the empty trees

The Thaw

My independence, for too many years I have been the emotional regulator, the nurturing one, the fixer. I have let my own needs go to be everyone's everything leaving nothing for myself. I am an empath and comes natural to me. I am fighting against that nature and doing me for the first time ever. People say I have changed, I can't talk to you anymore. I have changed, they can't manipulate me or guilt trip me anymore.
