A spring orbit. Something is loosening. This week we turn toward what is coming back, and what we are finally ready to let come back.

Harshness vanished. A sudden softness
has replaced the meadows' wintry grey.
Little rivulets of water changed
their singing accents. Tendernesses,

hesitantly, reach toward the earth
from space, and country lanes are showing
these unexpected subtle risings
that find expression in the empty trees

Once upon a time
A girl was forgiving
She didn’t get doubt
Knew no misgivings

Once upon a time
A girl tried to listen
To comprehend complaints
To empathize with schisms

Once upon a time
A girl’s life changed
New life, new set of rules
New pain

Once upon a time
A girl understood
That the early of her life
Was when she was most good

Once upon a time
A girl turned her back
She went her own way
And things began to stick

One time recently
I looked back at who I was
I was good
New me, I’m done
