Why is it that the youth today are always being criticized? Everything we do is “bad” or “immoral” In a blink of an eye, suddenly ostracized With expectations so high it’s almost brutal When all we are are flowers trying to bloom, But are always cut short by stones surrounding our roots Your doings are yet to fill the world with gloom Thanks to you, one day, we'll probably stop speaking up. What's the point if our thoughts and ideas are cut and shaped into yours? One day, there would no longer be the word, "innovation" For there would be no such thing as "new ideas” or “great ideas” Thank you for your criticism. Thank you for YOUR hurtful thoughts. Thank you for taking away freedom of expression. Thank you so much.
