“Lord have mercy,”
you dolefully sigh,
your song awaiting
my reply.
”Have Mercy on me,”
each chord explains,
your baby is lost
and torn heart pains.
With tired feet
I softly croon
my dark agreement,
a bluesy tune.
I stir my cocoa –
a condoling toast –
and welcome you in
as your lonely host.
Suspended in your
mournful zephyr,
I bear the wounds
you’ll always suffer,
the Atlas burden
that breaks your back,
your scarlet letter
weathered black,
and offer you
my own lament
of how my stormy
Monday went.
Then, like a
wing-footed Gabriel,
he sings his
holy madrigal.
With merciful swiftness
my beloved appears,
and whispers,
”Darling, I am here,”
Then our duet becomes
one person less,
As I am
undone
with
happiness.

*Galaxy of blue and purple,
I trace the reflection of stars
With fingertips dewy in birth
And death on my breath;
Tsunami of a butterfly is
The wind at my lips, I kiss
The clouds that confined me.*

that you can't see,
it smiles for it stands

you
may
cover it
up and deny it
but you know too well
that within the chateau
of your words
lies a gentle heart

The sin eats you alive
Just as it should
The company of the devil
The presence of evil
Surrounds your every move
Invades your every breath
It is what defines you
You are consumed
With the overbearing thoughts
Of the ones you've wronged
And how you will eventually
Have to face justice
And pay the price
Either now
Or in the afterlife
Or both

If I could but see
Through the eyes of a lover,
Cause the world is sickening,
Thoughts cloud my mind.
She sits there smilin'
Cause I love her
Cause some how It's fine.
In her eyes, not mine,
The problems in the world, and after.
While I sit confused,
She sits amused
And near to laughter,
But holds, to plainly say,
"Is it sadness you're after?"
It strikes me silent,
Though the thoughts do not relent-
Until my last breath/regret.
And it's finally clear-
It didn't matter.

the moon is hiding in
her hair.
The
lily
of heaven
full of all dreams,
draws down.
cover her briefness in singing
close her with the intricate faint birds
by daisies and twilights
Deepen her,
Recite
upon her
flesh
the rain’s
pearls singly-whispering.

Here he is
on the swiveling chair
thinking about someone
who would eventually care
There he is;
concealed by the book cover
seeking refuge
in tales and fables,
the words started to hover

O! Keeper of the moon
With heavy eyes and broken dreams
I bade you listen
the perennial fragments of your past will haunt you in ways you wished never existed
the voices you once heard will make languid circles above you, making you dizzy
and as you to continue to find your way to the clearing, the eyes of lover slither by(behind you). Its fangs sharp and ready
while heaving through the undergrowth you stop, realising it took too long and too much....
