Fallen, from a tree Fallen, to its knees Fallen, dead, to the ground beneath its feet Severed limb, sent down to decay, though not in vein Cast down to decompose and nurture the soil that fed it to be Brightly green, a selfless being One not to speak or scream, but one to gaze, silently without judgement, upon a world of chaos and greed Great dazzling being of life Once, a joyful green, darkened by our careless needs Yet still, it finds use for its severed limb From green to brown, then into the ground, and back, to a fuller green, Smiling in the wind, casting shadows below where it will lay next Brown, Brave

Autumn tree
The darkness of my dreams keeps me awake at night. The fear of it happening, discourages me from adventures. It’s content throws me in a series of questions What is, to happen? Why these sudden nightmares? Why now? Since It all started, my fear grow stronger every day, my hours of sleep decrease every night. It seems winter will never end for me, when everyone is outside enjoying the sun, I’m locked In my shadows with every Inch of my body frozen by fear and only one question in mind when does it all end?
