iscomfortzone For every capricious child There is no moral compass The healing hand pushed away These malevolent spirits Traveling incognito Hidden well behind the I's Random singularities Pulling out an existence From the slightest attentions Brief intoxicant fixes These busted knuckle divers Conceal event horizons From which there is no escape Spaghettification kings For every imploding star seated on padded musroom Another is hovering Just beyond our blindered view © P.M.H 2/07/21

Discomfortzone
Ane Blissed Chance You cannot hear this Song of my haecceity Resonant within This peculiar ane My spirit cries out to you Mute sibylline bid There not painlessly Corkscrewing into my heart These threads of your love Temporal soma Passes this way only once I gift you mine © P.M.H 2009

Ane Blissed Chance
When I was a child I liked to ride in cars In backseats I would close eyes I'd Imagine moving backwards It seemed to be an innocent muse Maybe chancing getting to some story Like Alice's parallel place of wonder © P.M.H 6/30/19

Backwards
Old man in the night, on the banks of the river, carefully looks about, no one must see him in this deadly serious, childish play. In a white wax paper pastry bag, he gently places the memories, slippery feelings, a handful of tears, an abundance of joy and a little, lit tea candle. Bending he delicately places it upon the water, as though it were some priceless thing and he sits hands folded in lap, feet out, on the river bank. watching the white bag as it dims and drifts away. © P.M.H 2001

Belly Up
You have imprinted My eternity Walking on by me Giving backward glance And inviting smile This magnetism In fecundity Your step fragile yet Some great gravity About your presence You venal, naive Yet like the woman There is caveat Men observe caution Green little Mantis Swaying in the breeze your flowerprint skirt Disappears from view Down the boulevard The perfume remains May see you again Next incarnation Somewhere in my walk Across life and time Will you remember © P.M.H 2009

Flowerprint Spirit
I've Walked a Myriad of country roads Places that are nowhere and everywhere I've stepped into the deep and endless woods Therein a billion tall, slender spirits Old souls watched as I walked in between them Patches of daylight played in fluttered spats Bright daylight, it cuts into eyes and mind Like memories fixed in a Déjà vu Hidden beneath the mosiac floor, a love Shining brightly as an October day I've Watched leaves tumbling down from perfect skies like soft kisses between falling dancers Just as my heart tumbles out of its' place recalling falling leaves and soft kisses © P.M.H 12/22/2011

I Saw her name painted upon a stone Then you told me the legend of Bao Si Her form as an ageless, ancient beauty Still alive, breathing in places of love I have wandered bound within her legend Spiriting me across stormy jade seas Walked upon ancient timeless stone pathways I've taken her to heart as I have you Enfolded within emerald dreaming I've envisioned standing on the Great Wall Then setting ablaze the warning tower Forsaking all just to have seen her smile You've told me about the Yunnan mountains About the precious teas harvested there The peaceful palmed paradise below them Gentle winds whisper the name of Bao Si Beneath the soft shadows of those mountains           In the early morning amber sunrise Hands held we will share warm tea and kisses Love in a coy blossomed beautiful place © P.M.H 2009 Revised 2/12/19
