The night is filled with profound silence
All souls are wandering in the land of dreams
Snores and the rustling of leaves is all that i hear around
The world feels so peaceful
But here i am
A young soul trying to discover my true nature
Repeatedly i lose myself in this confusing world
Hoping to establish my true purpose without being misled
My sorrows and pains are my main driving forces of unrest
The elixir of this sickness they say is 'presence'
Oh yes I tasted the fruit
Fulfillment and essence can be found no where than this very moment

These times are unprecedented,
Scary things happening all around us,
Death news here and there,
The economy has turned on its head,
Our heroes are leaving us for somewhere we have no knowledge of,
Who do we go to and how do we stop this!
The gods have failed us is what it seems,
But no answer pleases the masses.
One thing I know can save us now,
Something our fighters even adhere to,
Washing our hands frequently with soap and water,
Putting on our nose mask,
Avoiding handshakes,
Avoid moving about aimlessly,
Drinking warm water often.
Always put yourself first in every situation,
That is the only way to save your self and your close ones.

My eyes are open
I don't know where I stand
Welcomed into a world divided by credo
Everybody supporting a faith
A faith they fail to investigate
Searching for a creator
One unseen,one near and far
Told to be closest to those pure in heart
A father we all seek in ways diverse incomprehensible by the mind
Division among His children all in the name of spiritual enlightenment
The world is lost, I wail
Fighting each other because they follow a God they claim embodies LOVE
I believe in a God, my origin
My eyes are open,so must yours
Let's face reality and unite as one
Earth is our home, God is for us all
Let us keep our minds filled with the catchphrase" we are one people and one nation"
What God has put together let no man put assunder

The troubled moves about alone
He believes nobody understands his plight
"What bothers you ",I ask
"you will say its nothing to bother about", he replies
"You may be right or wrong", I remark
The world is against me, he says
Sullen he looks
Seeing no hope in the future he blindly possesses
Be free I say
Brother be free
Your woes may not be mine,
but it is only the carrier that suffers from the load
A new day is bound to appear once more

Hopeful I am
Tomorrow will surely be auspicious
Life is a game
Sometimes the dilemma can be worrisome,
but winning blows away the pain
I know tomorrow is for the one who prepares today
Yes I know, I think we all know
All these words gallavanting in my head
I pray I learn to make good use of them
Action is what will make me what I envision
But I sit here all day building castles in my head
If wishes were realities all men would be living in different worlds
Here I stand, Here I am
The laws of the land still takes its toll on me
I know tomorrow is going to be great
