You appear like a vision unto me
I know its not real
But I reach out and grab
I hold on to the thought of you
Will you come to me
Will you come
Do you want to see
Do you want
You're a vision you're a dream
Something I cannot touch only feel
In my bones in my soul
You reside in me
Will you come to me
Will you come
Do you want to see
Do you want
In my minds eye I see
In my chest I feel
In the empty spaces that break
All around me you float
Will you come to me
Will you come
Do you want to see
Do you want

is there a place we can go
be all alone
not another soul in sight
all alone we can spend the night
run away from here and disappear
never to reappear
in hiding
away from all sight
our thoughts entwined
our souls one in mind
longing to belong
longing to be alone with you
run away run run
so far away from here
we disappeared we were gone

start the fire start the fight
strike the match give it light
throw the flame make it bright
light up my face
light up my life
you
You're the fire you're the fight
you're my match you're my light
you're the one that makes me alright
light up my face
light up my life
burning for you i burn for ...
like the sun i shine like the sun for ...
burning for you i burn so bright
light up my face
light up my life
you light up
like the sun

hanging on
to you
can't let go
i already know
the end is nigh
and cliffs so high
we fall apart
together again
we stare into the void
taking in all the darkness
consumed by emptiness
a hunger for the pain
no shelter from the winds of change
no protection against angry words
that rain down on us
washes us away

Dear Racism,
You, that exist but should never have been.
Your children, Hatred and Division have grown up among us.
Rooted themselves wherever they pleased.
You have caused enough pain.
You will be silenced.
Today we took the 1st step, as ONE Nation.
Today we remembered. Today we said thank you.
My heart is heavy, yet calm.
Walking among my fellow brothers and sisters,
I sensed the same in them.
We have been changed.
Liberated.
Ubuntu.
Freedom is ours for the taking.
The long walk has been walked for us.
We need to be as strong now.
We need to carry on the work.
Our leaders need to lead,
by following the dreams of the people,
Our leaders need to put themselves last,
and the people they serve, first.
Let it not be in vain.
For then I fear, we are all lost.
Dear Racism,
Goodbye. And good riddance.
Sincerely,
The Nation of UBUNTU.

I swear this time i will be fine
1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8
It might be too late
1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7
But it tastes like heaven?
1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6
Need a fix
1, 2, 3, 4, 5
We have arrived
1, 2, 3, 4
At your door
1, 2, 3
Let us in
1, 2
Last call for you

There once was a poem, who was all
alone
The poet who wrote it, knew this
It was his intention all along
For he wrote the poem strong

Tea, Tom Waits & heavy rain
***** Bukowski & the understanding of pain
Heineken, Hunter S Thompson & slipping down the drain
Sunday morning coffee, on Dylan & dysfunction
Red wine, Heller & all the catch 22's
Black balloon, Morrison & mystery
Cobain. Davis & Coltrane.
Alive or dead.
What makes them GREAT?
Just that.

i always take the long road home
i like washing dishes
i like not getting angry when expected
i give when not expected to give
i listen when you decide to scream
i try
it calms me down

leave loneliness alone
let life be
keep your ***** greedy hands at bay
we have created and labelled "this world"
we have placed our stamp on everything
approve to disapprove to disprove approval
fine
be fake
but leave loneliness alone
