though a sea of guilt so deep surrounds me I am at peace beneath the swell of dreams that drown me I am so profoundly sorry for how you found me washed ashore alone without your arms around me

buried pleasure/guilty treasure
i see you in the sun i feel you in the air that's warm and for the ocean floor that creeps unto the shore i will love you more with every wave that drags away the sand to bring each grain back to the sea i will love you as the falling moon sets sails to sleep i will love you every night before and as i dream until the stars align and you are lying next to me

The Massed Supper
My thoughts of you are constant, in my waking life your presence is clear as shallow sands below the crystal shore. I can still feel your warmth, it covers me like the rays of a thousand suns. And between the distance of our hearts, grows a garden of eternal love. But in my dreams, you are not. Your soul has wandered far and out of touch. In my sleep, I fear that you will forever be lost. When I close my eyes, a shadow swallows up my mind, and your memory is faint and fades with time. And every morning when I wake I think of you and pray, that just for one more day, in my mind you will stay.

while all the others begged and borrowed, I picked at flowers; inside the seams of concrete gardens.

bronxdale ave
all but one lonely soul hangs from limbs of tired trees in a dense forests of hearts, and endless flow of blood through leaves. under one sky, under one moon; a canopy of hope set atop a floor of dreary dead, laid to rest in a damp field of dirt walked upon by careless feet. hollowed eyes stop and gaze to see, endlessly; a sea of worried beasts stomping through a muddy path. and through the weeds a breeze shall breath a quiet call, and put to sleep a lonely me.

far from the ground a sun faced sea shines on me no trouble i see but a sail with no wind to catch no worry in the air should i swim so long and tire arms and reach the golden glaze ahead? on islands set down to catch a glimpse of flocking beasts and friendly herds

pining island
in the beaming light of sun kissed skies innocent eyes pure and clean as porcelain white are forced in time, without the bright of past in sight, to face the shadows from the night.
