Sable flecks drape the forest floor, If not for this, what's the forest for? Daily lark serenades the petal's ear, If not for this, why make this meadow here? Translucent pupil drinks naked vistas, If not for this, Why bother with existence?

Emerson the Existentialist
Up above, the Bellman quiets. Down below, a crowd begins to gather. Hollow hums his solemn silence. Angry faces, whited iris. She dances, hooded, beneath the rafter. Up above, the Bellman quiets. They shout: "Violence! Violence!" She twirls, she twirls, shaking in her laughter. Hollow hums his solemn silence. "Find him! Find him!" Riots! Riots! "Hurry! Hurry! There is no time without thereafter." Up above, the Bellman quiets. "They've come! They've come!" Each one brings his ladder. He leaps! No water?! What water will clean the splatter? Down below, the Bellman quiets. Hollow Hums his solemn silence.
