I enjoy reading, and writing, especially painting pictures in the mind. Like Einstein said, " I have no special talents, I am only passionately curious". I consider myself an enigma who is lost inside the rabbit hole. Ha ha. I am just trying this site out with a couple poems for now, but if you like what you see, please let me know and i will post more. Thank you for your time! Enjoy (:
*The bird that couldn't fly Was hoping to connect The stars up in the sky To finally crack the code Where all the secrets hide Behind the constellations In the star-lit galaxy at night She threw her little messaged question Into the wine-less bottle And up to the bunny on the moon The inscrutable one can read the tricks That the magician to us humans do Deep within his hat We endure within the rabbits fur Hoping for a way out But to go where We remain unsure Sailing through the tides Until we finally reach the shore In between our dreams We reach for carnal desires Someone who has a match To light these cold hearts on fire To burn away the freeze That caused this to conspire So we transcript the dialogue Of our stolen ambiguous memories Turning them into our own thrills, Paintbrushes and pens The hand, though feeble-minded Is the fine-crafted key Claiming to ourselves This is what we really need An already colored-on And scribbled-out canvas To repaint ourselves forever A notion we call eternity Maddened by a melody of echos Of the intangible words Our tongue-ties wish to speak Achieve the figure eight We solemnly wish to keep The desire to never let go Of the things that we've set free A way to make amends With the voices in our heads A trail of broken languages Written in ash and braille What was it that was said Which words have pulled the strings That attach your heart to your head?*

**Carnal Desires**
*In my dream, Last night You smiled my way The rain allows my mind To compromise With your pleasant surprise I awake in a daze I must get this right You walked into my life Don't run and hide We can take this day by day Like love, family, and the air we breath My heart tells me You are something that I need I want to make you mine My thoughts run wild With the birds outside I see the beauty in life As I envision your smile It's charms like that Which I can't deny It's the thoughts of you That make my soul feel alive Last night, You walked into my life I have high hopes That you've come to stay The stars put my mind at ease With the comfort of knowing I will see you again If only in my dreams*

**Daydreams**
*Like the eye of a tornado She's calm but empty inside Can she take a swallow Of your pretty little mind Could she barrow your eyes So she can see from the other side The places you have been While she reads your mind And possibly be able to tell What it is that you see When you look at this strange girl, A sea-vessel in a shell is she Her eyes are made from stars Her skin is the ocean's sand Her words are messages in bottles Her thoughts spread paper thin A little dove from liquid love With wings that float above The star-less, moon-lit night As soft as a feather's touch Dream a little dream What a wishful thing to do Awakened with eyes shut tight Perhaps curiosity holds the clue Soft-spoken in silence By lips of the intangible Words carved from sentences Make feelings appear more manageable A soul search and dive Hoping to reconnect The dots that take align And hold the secrets of the sky Mysteries and reveries Paint the canvas of the brain Maybe a flightless bird Is the best she's ever been Weaving intentions in the constellations As patience sets the pace Who will be her saving grace? A fireproof love To set ablaze She wants to draw a love song With the collection of her madness A picture of beauty, hope, truth, and logic A soft brush painting with colors of magic*

**Sea-Vessel in a Shell**
*I want to crawl into my pages And hide behind my words Placed within these spaces As you speak of what you've heard Left to my devices To tell my stories of a truth A reader and a writer, It's witty what words can do With a rip of the pages I fold myself into origami To be placed inside a bottle Then cast out to sea A tiny little birdy The intangible written about A message in a bottle Words with wings that scout Trapped beneath the glass A beautiful home is it To live through all eternity A bottle to a kiss Hopeful that it does not break For if it does, Then I shall sink And flutter in the mess Taking sips of my own drink*
