teri-denise-green
American Teri D. Green was born on December 30 in 1981. She attended Westwood College where she obtained a dual major bachelor degree in the areas of Computer Science and in Computer Engineering. She interned at WGNTV channel 9 in Chicago while studying. By the mere age of 24 she found great success by being employed at WLEY 107.9 FM as the Assistant Chief Engineer in downtown Chicago. Even though Teri loved computers her passion was her poetry. She began writing at the age of eleven. Her works are powerful because it represents her. / / She is inspired by poets such as Maya Angelou, and Nikki Giovanni. Teris past gave her fuel to succeed and strive to be better that what others perceived her to be. Her famous quote is "Its not where you come from, but where you decide to go". This quote reminds her that she does not look like the hell that she has been through, and that troubles never last always.
Backed up into a brick wall without a way to escape, With pictures that need to be hung, but I neither’m unequipped without nails nor scotch tape. Ecstasy being is the main blame of date **** And yet and still I am what I cannot face. Swinging at the air searching for a fight to prove nothing, I have disowned the fact that I am truly worth something. Sitting in the dark with candles lit, Only because this is less money spent. But who cares as I try to comprehend and analyze, is this it? Working for money and dying for responsibilities when I don’t even pay rent. Crying over a broken heart when I loved no one, As I sit and analyze how my life of misery begun. Walking on the pavement without shoes, Longing and aching to define the word blues. A life of feeling confused, Trying to understand why is it mandatory for one to become two. Because I cannot face reasons of vagueness! So as I walk the path of my journey discovering the true me, As I open my once blind eyes so that I can finally see. As I embrace reality, And fall in love with the new me.

Death of A Poet - Feed Back Please
So much commotion! The sounds of the pavement, Screaming save me. But the signal must be distorted, One more teen being slang while one more baby is being aborted. The cries are constantly being ignored, For the citizen defined heroic. Has yet to hear the sound, While another body hopelessly fall onto the ground. The sounds of the pavement crying out rivers of blood, While another parent is being confronted with a simple hug, Trying to make sense of why she is now burying her only son Doug. So with every ounce of love! She shouts does my cry fall upon death ears, But the signal is interfered by the neighborhood fears. She shouts, "HELP ME!" please confess. But one more time her call was placed to the test. See we are constantly being placed in a position, Where kids are mentally missing. And no matter how much you talk they never tend to listen. Which leads them? To the code of the hood, A snitch is never good. But that method is so misunderstood... Static reception, static reception, Where is the signal so needed to convey protection? I suppose the signal is simply lost! Or is it being masked with the sounds of the pavement and death is the cost? From the cradle to the grave, You can hear the pain in the pavement soaring as high as a wave. In a voice of harmony shouting the phrase, "Save Me"!

I ask you to gaze into my eyes, And simply realize. What takes me by surprise? And thats a common cry for help through my eyes. Crime has become a natural devastation, It is becoming stronger than the strength of our nation. What cause can be shifted to change this situation? When Hatred is commonly becoming a demonstration, With the victims only educated thought being retaliation. So as a people I ask you How do we ever expect the nation to rise to the point of elevation? When our people are being destroyed with typical procrastination. They say that you must wake up and realize realization, Is the realism to what your souls manifestation? Even though Hatred has been surfaced for over duration, Yet and still you must be honest brother we control our own lifes destination. Its confusing the way our world was interrupted, And the common sense that our children now own has truly become corrupted. They say our skin is just an outer shell, That protects the flesh from third degree burns from hell. Look we decided to understand continuation, And that somehow that captured this pathetic society of a nation. But we are not even trying to escape the situation, While innocent children are being violated by molestation. Because nowadays all these rivers care about is money, drugs, and ************ I ask you to pause for a moment of silence, as I prepare for my commercial break, Remember one thing and one thing only THIS IS ONLY A TAPE!

Common Cry For Help
His Voice, His Face, His smell, His Hands, The time has come for the truth to spell from the base of my soul, The time has come for nature to take control. I love him like a bee love honey, I love him like the existence to provide thru the concept of money. His presence aluminates the area in which he stands, The personality in his walk makes me yearn to understand. The concept of this man His fragrance is like moms homemade me pie, Making my mouth watery and craving for more. He is the vacation I have been procrastinating on, Yet he is what my mind tends to explore. His eyes talk to me loud while he tone remains silent, Loving this creature is making my love violent. Dying to be released, breaking windows for exposure, Im closet phobic yet I find myself sheltered in a dark enclosure. I know I want to know and Im in a position in which I can. But the concept of this man. Leaves me afraid to believe and to fearful to release, But somehow when amongst him I am sprinkled with peace. One soft kiss on my forehead and my worries cease, Leaving my soul relaxed and at ease. The strength in his faith is the beauty in his eyes, The power in his testimony makes my blood pressure rise. Life has journeys that are so un-definable, Where did he come from I thought I was un-findable. With my eyes closed and I place my feet on land, God how am I ever suppose to understand? The concept of this man...
