Teri D. Green was born on December 30 in 1981. She attended Westwood College where she obtained a dual major bachelor degree in the areas of Computer Science and in Computer Engineering. She interned at WGNTV channel 9 in Chicago while studying. By the mere age of 24 she found great success by being employed at WLEY 107.9 FM as the Assistant Chief Engineer in downtown Chicago. Even though Teri loved computers her passion was her poetry. She began writing at the age of eleven. Her works are powerful because it represents her. / / She is inspired by poets such as Maya Angelou, and Nikki Giovanni. Teris past gave her fuel to succeed and strive to be better that what others perceived her to be. Her famous quote is "Its not where you come from, but where you decide to go". This quote reminds her that she does not look like the hell that she has been through, and that troubles never last always.
