It was in the early hours of the day On a tuesday 24 years ago,Though Raining cats and dogs,Her cries still pierced the air.For she was in agony. Sooner than expected, the baby's cries were heard, He cried loud and long For the Baby was a lad. She was an ebony of noble blood Whose beauty was gifted by aphrodite. As meek and gently as a lamb, she was. Yes!! She was indeed a lady. The noble lady who bore the child, was my motherThe child born is Me Though she sits out of Earth,Never a day has she ceased being my mother. Yes!!! Am 24. *Happy Birthday*
This icon was as noble as a king in many ways as wise as solomon but great was he like Chris Himself His voice was as soft and touching as a fairy’s in many ways he was as meek as a lamb with garments as opulent as if made in heaven His songs made the world tremble and his sight made people fumble in music, he was invincible He danced beyond measure his dancing style was unique the way he arrayed his dresses on him was unique He was as rich as solomon for the gold he amassed was beyond measure he could turn black to white when he danced, what a sight!!! and when he monwalked, it was a marvel when he twisted people were mesmerised. “King of pop” he earned the title grammy amonsgt other awards bored him MJ was a supernatural being As humans we have flaws he was no exception for he was a human At two scores and a half our icon breathed his last bringing sorrow to our world He will forever dwell in our minds for he was a man who knew no bounds for his songs still thrill people MICHAEL JACKSON, I LOVE YOU

ode to M. JACKSON
In my new home I sat in for ages everything strange save my shoes without laces, to this area I came *** I had an obligation which was nothing more than my education I never felt at home because i knew I was all alone. Joining a horde I couldn’t bring myself to giggle feeling so strange nobody saw my dimple I felt all eyes on me from my head to my knee everywhere I went, all was stare so home I went afraid to be caught in the snare. On my way to my cabin I passed some children who were nagging, pointing at me, one shouted to the others “behold ! here comes a stranger” “stranger with a long nose” they chanted and threw stones at me as I ran A stranger indeed I were oh! oh! how sad is it to be away from home

A STRANGER
When I first beheld her, what a sight!! I lost my breathe as if I have been in a fight. though she wasn’t a princess, she was as beautiful as a goddess. she didn’t have gold, but her eyes glimmered like emerald that wasn’t old I was entrapped in her snare of beauty I lost myself and my sense of duty for she occupied my thoughts all the time when told of my love for her, she accepted with time. never had the temerity to tell her of my love face to face of my love for her, I told her thru the phone with grace. Alone at home, I longed to meet and tease her and my lips longed to kiss her I lost my appetite for food knowing am in love, I thanked God for being so good. for us to meet, we schedule a date that day I ate just a grape Across the street I saw her looking, then seeing me, she lost her footing running towards me, she forgot she was in the street in her hand dangled a packet of sweet she didn’t hear my voice to lookout then there was a loud “BANG”. Sprawled on the asphalt was my love as I knelt beside her, I was at a loss pumping from her was blood seeing it many people shouted “oh lord” there and then my love died when I fainted, many persons thought I had died I cried in my doom and for years my face was in gloom I never had the chance to tease her I never had the chance to kiss her I cried in melancholy and thought of myself unholy I never had the opportunity to love again and I can’t bring myself to love again FOR MY LOVE IS GON

MY LOVE IS GONE
Like the burglar thats attracted by money, like the **** that’s paid to **** so they got enticed by our gold, our diamond and our oil. so they came to steal, to **** and to destroy us. Gold coast,Ivory coast , South Africa,Cameroon amongst other countries were attacked… they stole our gold, they stole our diamond and they stole our oil. when we resisted, they **** us with their inhuman policies like aparthied in S.Africa, and by destroying us, they took us as slaves. we now live in ghettos and slumps we die of poverty and famine they are the ones responsible for our plight their coming to Africa has brought nothing good for they came to STEAL, to **** and to DESTROY

WHY THEY CAME TO AFRICA
It wasn’t easy to fall in love with you, though your looks were always new. You won my heart with time but oh! then I had no money, no dine. with nothing to offer you but my heart and soul, you decided to go away in search for gold leaving me in melancholy and jeopardy. I cried for my loss; I mourned for my tragedy. you overlooked my errors when I had affluence but now you underlook me in every sense you yearned for my love before now you snoop me unlike before, you disgraced me amidst my friends and you broke our engagement, caring less; You called me “sweetheart” before while now you call me merely “Michael” everything you do to make me hate you doesn’t hurt me and I curse myself for it because am still in love with you. My father disowned me because of your sake and I nearly drowned in a lake you showed no care when i broke a leg and you left me while sick in bed you called my mum a ***** and in my absence you stole from my meagrer store I can’t put your deeds in words for it is long; for after all that you did to me am really confused and i curse myself for it for…for… for.. am still in love with you

AM STILL IN LOVE WITH YOU
Pharaoh Tutankhamun graced the Egyptian throne, A ***** brisk and spry. From his majestical hands, dangled a scepter And on his handsome head, sat a crown. His empire was at its peak For he wielded influence all over africa. The bearded Europeans and nubianS sought his protection For egypt, was a haven. So organised was the land: Amun-re and maat protected the people, The country grew with the help of viziers. Agriculture was a noble profession in the land, As her economic markets were the best in the world Egypt gave light to Greece and Mesopotamia For her civilisation altered many a life. And also, was the birth place of man Such, was the land of egypt The middle ages stroke and Europe went to sleep But mama africa gave birth to many strong children: Ghana, Mali, Songhai and many more These children shoke the world with their riches and organisation. Such was the history that africa recorded before they came. Fredriech Hegel in want of speech said: “Africa never had a history before the whites came.” Such a mediocre declaration from an illiterate For in place of his brain, graced a kidney. Africa was well civilised before the bearded people came: We had a religion We had education as seen in egypt We had a well organised system in all aspects. We had everything needed for prosperity, We attracted them with our gold, thus they came. But most of all, we believed in equality. Such was africa before they came But when the bearded people came, They altered our ways and put us in stocks Then said: “we had no history.” Oblivious that africa had made history, BEFORE AND BEFORE THE

A swarm of mosquitoes there was Of different ethnic origin, language and culture. Aedes, anopheles, culex and others Some fragile, some agile and some avaricious, The anopheles was the most fragile but avaricious. This human, they set eyes on, She was in possession of everything they needed And in want of nothing. So because of her possessions, they attacked her And she being weak, could do nothing to defend herself. And so with their proboscis, they ****** her blood, For many a year, she was continuously being ****** As she was being ****** so was she being bitten, Some bites were gentle, others, excruciating. But with God on her side, she stood on her feet. The wind of change gently blew some mosquitoes away Others clung tight, for they were desperate But the human started agitating for her freedom So the remaining mosquitoes reluctantly left. But alas!!!! She has been ****** semi dry She started labouring to regain herself back Just as the lazy anopheles mosquitoe came back As the other mosquitoes went and continued their lives, The anopheles discovered it couldn’t survive alone So it came back through lies and deceit to **** more blood And from that same human, it continued ******* blood, It will come as if to make peace Between the body parts; but that’s a pretext. It truly came for blood and more blood The anopheles mosquitoe knows it can’t live without the blood But it can never accept that fact Because of its ***** pride. It is the laziest of all the mosquitoes Because it depends solely on the human If the human doesn’t open her eyes And with zeal, fight back, The anopheles will **** her with no mercy. NO HUMAN, NO ANOPHELES MOSQUITOE NO AFRICA, NO FRANCE

All was a light As I came back, tired at night The lass had just moved in Against her wall I did lean And throught a broken pane, I saw her. sweet brown, slim and enticing. Bending low, I noticed she was reading. “tap-tap-rat-tap” I rapped her door And there she stood beside me, smiling, revealing white teeth, she said unto me: “Sheila, they call me”and extended a hand “Michael, nice to make acquiantance” I replied behind. Her eyes were so charming So too the lips, succulent and tantalizing “Am your neighbour” I whispered; “So am the girl next door”, she countered Staring at her, I felt a sudden flush And smiling beautifully, she did blush “Tomoroow morning then” I whispered “Yes tomorrow morning, goodnite Michael” In bed for two hours she occupied my thoughts And when the lids closed, she came It was so real to be a dream Yes she came…the girl next door

i beseech thee to answer is there still hope??? Forgetting their vows of chaste they become lecherous fighting for power, they become ambitous. their actions make people shock for they forget why they put on the cassock. respect for God, our clergies no longer have but so greedy with the things they have. they dont mix with the poor to help them spiritually but go for the rich to enrich themselves. churches are now business centers for money clergies bless only those who make the offertory box full. SO BROTHER, IS THERE STILL HOPE?? They stand as if pious to duty but these our policemen are pious to money, they check not the motor but go for “500frs” which is their motto. they can be seen standing with zeal hands stretch, they stand still first, they could be seen to stamp after collecting bribe, they champ SO SISTER, IS THERE STILL HOPE?? The rich live mysteriously and enjoy themselves like angels while the poor live in mysery and die because of negligence TO YOU, IS THERE STILL HOPE?? Embezzlement in Cameroon is a virtue it is practised in all offices thieves go in broad daylight unscathed while the innocent ones are caught and they cant fight My country is said to be democratic but elections have never been smooth for thirty one years the president has stayed in power using deceit and the gun to rule. IS THIS HOW IT SHOULD BE?? virgins have now liquidated themselves they prefer being ravished everywhere you go you stumble on prostitutes. my black girls don’t like their colour they prefer to strive to be whites thus, monsters they become in a bid to peel their skin very few believe in “black is beauty” Brothers copulate sisters while fathers copulate daughters.
