Buying your heart in rubies
Drowning your tears in sapphires
Chained your hand in a single diamond
Trapped in a palace of silver and steel
Caged by a garden of bronze
Dragging feet through grass of greens
I give no less for you
This romance based on platinum love

Lies grown to show your trust rotted
After your departure sprung
Ruined befell upon our misfortune
To have my pride intact was your destruction
For demise will ensure, as the game has begun
My efforts will create triumph
Majestic beneath the peerless mountain range
Boundless and infinite as the azure sea
So that even under the rays of the sun
I can envelop you in my eternal eclipse

Tell me when, tell me how
I'm already lost, can't hear over sounds
From my own hand rubbing salt in old wounds
I prayed, I prayed and
God sent me right to voicemail

Once upon a time,
There was a princess in a tower
Her only companion were the sky and clouds
In her simple room, there was a match
He saw the princess, dull and abandoned
Through summer, spring, and fall
One night he whispered notes in her ear
To light the match, and see his shine
He said," Let me accompany you, dear."
That day on, when he called upon
She would light the match
Enjoying his flickering, wild dances
Their companionship consumed her sorrow
For she had, a new sun to look upon
The flame he brought, comforted her heart
But the match had known,
That his time with the princess was cutting close
How sad he was, when roses bloomed on her cheeks
On the last day he proposed,
That she let him blanket her in a forever glow
That night her gaze lingered on his unsteady glow
Upon the navy sky, a glow could be seen
The once dreary tower became a candle
That transformed, what turned into an amber night

Like coffee, which leaves a bitter taste
Your lingering feeling are petty
For the one at fault, you're shameless
End the daydreams of our reunion
For I have moved on to another path
And repaired the damages to myself
Now my respond is simple:
"Your time is done, over, fin
It has ended like a book
One that will only be shelved"

A book of ink and text
Thrive in heads of everyone
The "RULES" society follows
Thinking, "It is for the best"
These regulations that restrain
Where passed down to the young
For decades and millenniums
The pages have piled
Now see how they become
The next generations will be nothing
But **** that are easily controlled
By the letters "NO"
There are those who resist
The 1% who are shunned
Because they have burned that book
And choose to live freely
Which side will you choose to become?

Close your eyes
When you think of the word "cannibals"
We think of animals eating their own kin
Open your eyes
When you witness "cannibals"
They are human devouring each other
Ferociously for wealth, power, and dominance
Societies are full of cannibals
Hidden under a shroud of deception

Words build on words
Actions build on actions
Emotions build on emotions
Warmth builds on warmth
Tragedy builds on tragedy
Build and build
Until you create a city full of skyscrapers

Oxygen is low as the bubbles float
The river is cold as numbness envelopes
You're stuck in the deep blue depths
Gravity pulls down, down under
As the anchor chained to your heart tugs
Hope is patiently waiting above
Your only chance is to let go
Let go of the person pulling you down
But your stubbornness persists
You lost your last chance
Now you must pay the cost
Of your own stupid mistake forever

The hours spent to make things right
Your passion lit by your work
Endless pain to achieve your goal
I once took your place
And with all my might lived in your shoes
At the end of the day things were fine
But the thing that separates us
Is the effort of your soul to do the same
EveryDay of your life- Thank you
