Currently, I am a student in a Christian college located in a small town near me, Northwestern College. Life at this college has greatly influenced my poetry career which started as a freshmen in high school. Right now, poetry is more of a hobby, but I would like to make it a little more than that after I get my elementary teaching and coaching jobs in a few years. I like to write with a purpose, either to make a point or to portray a feeling that I would like the reader to feel. Some say that my words are strong, but I believe that, especially in today's society, that is exactly what we need.
