Leave
Do you ever just want to cry Just let the tears fall. But you can't You won't ever be able to Because you're the strong one You make things better Offer hugs and mugs of tea Because you're the strong one You help put the pieces back together That's how it works Because you're the strong one Except you're breaking And you want to cry but you can't Because you're the strong one

Cry
How does it feel? To know that you aren't good enough Aren't pretty enough How does it feel? To know that you'll always be alone That you'll never be good enough How does it feel? Sharp, biting, deep? Or just Dull, aching, lingering? How does it feel?

How does it feel?
Pain flows Seeps into your pores Darkness It seeps out Happiness But you can't escape It follows you Tracks you It has marked you And you will never escape

Escape
Do you ever wish that you could disappear, fade away into the blackness of the background? Just drift. No problems, no misery, no inadequacy all of your fears and pain would just flow out. You just drift in nothingness and are content. Disappear into the void between different worlds, just be in between.

Nothing
Push pull This way, no that way Stop, no move Follow, no stop With me, no with me Turn, no stop Stay, go Leave Run Faster Faster Faster Ground blurs, faces blur Buzzing stops Quiet Push pull This way, that way Where to go? Who to chose?

And
Breathe in Gasping, grasping Breathe in Wide eyes, tear tracks Breathe in Too tight, too light Breathe in Shaking, quaking Breathe in Darkness, drowning Breathe in Night, sight Breathe in Calm, soft, quiet Breathe out

Calm
Sometimes life throws so many curves and you can't do anything but hold on tight because if you slip even a little you know that you could never ever get back. These curves try to show you that life is testing you and how you must be stronger and better than what is thrown at you, but all you want to do is shutdown and try not to think because it's easier and it's better. But you have to open your eyes and resist every urge you have to squeeze them tight to try to block out the pain and the frustration and the loathing and the fear because there maybe a light; something so small and powerful that it makes the curves worth it. The lights that dot the darkness are the most important because they are bright enough to shine through everything and they might quite possibly be the thing that saves you.

Curves
It’s a day, a drink, a moment A thought in the cold It’s the snow swirling, the ringing laughter A warm feeling It’s the joy of a day, a burned tongue A swirl of colors It’s moments A smile, a hug, a group It’s a thread that weaves through a life It’s the moments that come together It’s a full life

Moments
Crowding people loom like trees A look of pity, breath catches heart stops, then speeds Ba-bum, ba-bum, ba-bum, ba-bum Thoughts swirl and swirl around and around Silence bears over muted voices Turning, world shifts, you’re walking, now running Twist, turn, the dark encroaches, falling And then only Silence
