the end
is nigh
when ink blots drip on stark white pages
curling and crawling along
the crisp white of paper
telling a chilling tale
of something sinister
it lurks in depths of devilry
heavy darkness scraping down strong
dragging its spiny black fingers along
the remnants of cordiality
puncturing at the corners of rationality
drowning all logicality
for you know it writes scouring all identity
building demons in intensity
peaking in tantalizing brutality
its contempt robs the light of your pages
albeit, this is a story familiar to all ages
for you know the chronicle of this beast
he who bloodies his teeth
as a begrudging and hateful feeder
whose name
is Jealousy

You rooted yourself in my dreams
Long before I knew your schemes
Long before I knew the shape of your smile
Curled up crooked planting denial
In my mind
Long before I met you
You held my heart in exile
How I betrayed all my past lovers
While you crept in under the covers
Laying the shape of your jaw
And the marks on your back I now claw
In my mind
Long before I knew how your eyes
Would steer and sear into my seams
You rooted yourself in my dreams.

theres a dreamer who likes to dream
and what else can make the realist scream?
i’ll paint you a world you don’t need to believe
just play along with me
walking contradictions, i know
yet these dreams feed my soul
don’t mistake the game for naivety
its multidimensional, theres worlds we can’t see
so come with me down the rabbit hole
lets play at free
don’t be afraid, we’ll return. I have that **** phd.

autumn leaves and the summer breeze
will you keep me in your dreams?
broken, stolen
how fast the snow brought us to our knees
midsummer nights
the stars and moon to hear all our dreams
falling apart in a bar with the tears and the beer
and the breaking of our seams
passions producing the end of sweet esteems
dishonesty and disinterest or was it my dreams?
running wild, you or i?
who must be freed?
don’t say bye
leave it be
why pretend you don’t know me
we were lost even in proximity
feeling free we ran into the ocean
the stars honeyed light on our skin
clothes lay on the sand laughter lay on the air, so open
so open
let it all begin
drunken nights dancing in bars
kissing in cars
your touch giving me life
under the covers on days eve
you told me i promise ill never leave
disentangling from your disappeared embraces
poison mind leave me free of your faces
it was you forever i guarantee
but i guess i was the bird
And now I’m free

you cry for the both of us
your demons so ******* treasonous
ill hold you tight on those dark nights
please live this life in that firelight
remember me
carefree
laughing and dancing
before a black sea
rest your head on my shoulder
ill keep those demons at bay
closer now the nights getting colder
give me your demons we’ll parley
look now
a moody sea conjuring composure
behold her
stars light on that night enfold her
promise me
you’ll be
eternally leading those demons astray
come to me
resting 6 feet under our cherry tree
since they'll search for your tears on my deaths day
but o, i’ll be sheltering you from amidst the stars
where i wait in heaven’s archway
i smile for the both of us

i live
in stories
a mind befriending
clouds
where i soar
seeing music
in a kaleidoscope
of colors
i live
in dreams
where lovers hearts
synchronize
in a dance
to the same
iridescent rhythm
i live
in fairytales
where every soul
has another
anticipating a forever
i live
in a world
where love is always enough.
o reasonable redeemer,
please take care to not wake me up.

murky water swim forth
days passed and i can't decide
swollen and shiftless along a river due north
her shores speaking hallowed words to me
keep your pride
in our lies did we collide?
give me back my ****** earth
cleanse my body rinse my mind
a rebirth

step onto my ladder
that ascends into the inky sky
stark and dejected i stand
in a senseless void
unawares amongst the black matter
light rained in on no man's land
a dream, a fire, a meteoroid
do trepid fingers dare
reach for a golden dream
whose brilliance may blind?
welcome to my mind

If you could read my mind,
You’d see a thousand papers
Filled with broken poetries
And deadbeat proses
Full of woeful verses
With mournful pieces
Of unfinished stories
That are yet to be written
And failed to be spoken;
If you could read my mind,
You’d hear horrible screams
And earsplitting weeps
From shattered dreams,
Kept in a nasty notepad,
Scribbled on a bed
Of bloodstained words,
Ringing in my head.
If you could read my mind,
You’d see the shadows
That lurk within me;
You’d hear the bellows,
Screeching the words
“I’m tired,”
“I’m a failure,”
“I’m stupid –”
I know it sounds stupid,
It’s pathetically foolish
And seems like *******
If you could read my mind,
You’d feel the tears
I had ever failed to cry;
You’d see the people
That make the weak weaker;
You’d see the monsters
That consume my head;
You’d hear the hollers
That failed to be freed;
You’d see the heart
That still bleeds and bleeds.
If you could read my mind,
You’d see the face
I’ve failed to show back then,
The face I’ve faked back then.
If you could read my mind,
You’d see a character
I had ever failed to become
If you could read my mind,
You’d be able to read
A book you never wished
To touch and read,
But sometimes I still wish
Someone could read my mind.
