17/F/why Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion; it is not the expression of personality, but an escape from personality. But, of course, only those who have personality and emotions know what it means to want to escape from these / ~
Your words mean nothing Because if they meant something They would mean everything

Nothing
'Let me go' 'Let me go' Screamed a voice from below 'Let the shadows surround above and around' 'Pain did its justice now time to let go,' 'Take me away and let me decay' ~ Now she lies in a grave fire Taken away and she now cries The same tune with words of joy Her whispers still echo In the streets of despair.

A Myth of Despair
how deep are the oceans how vast is the sky in these endless escapes is there somewhere to hide somewhere to go and never be found somewhere to scream yet not make a sound...

solitude
If you could read my mind, You’d see a thousand papers Filled with broken poetries And deadbeat proses Full of woeful verses With mournful pieces Of unfinished stories That are yet to be written And failed to be spoken; If you could read my mind, You’d hear horrible screams And earsplitting weeps From shattered dreams, Kept in a nasty notepad, Scribbled on a bed Of bloodstained words, Ringing in my head. If you could read my mind, You’d see the shadows That lurk within me; You’d hear the bellows, Screeching the words “I’m tired,” “I’m a failure,” “I’m stupid –” I know it sounds stupid, It’s pathetically foolish And seems like ******* If you could read my mind, You’d feel the tears I had ever failed to cry; You’d see the people That make the weak weaker; You’d see the monsters That consume my head; You’d hear the hollers That failed to be freed; You’d see the heart That still bleeds and bleeds. If you could read my mind, You’d see the face I’ve failed to show back then, The face I’ve faked back then. If you could read my mind, You’d see a character I had ever failed to become If you could read my mind, You’d be able to read A book you never wished To touch and read, But sometimes I still wish Someone could read my mind.

If You Could Read My Mind
Upon this world, I arrived High Standards and scary lies A fright to fail, a need to gain This horrid world I desire

What they didn't tell me
A fringe around my neck, a bruise decorated my wrist A ghostly finger scraping my lips And a rush of crimson liquid oozed from above A yearn to escape, for this horrid site Keeps me incaved in misty mind Shadows surround, above and about Same deadly demons, toying around They wait till its dark to start their attack Lights out and sound asleep Through blood and bones, they turn you, a sickly being. Shallow breaths and sticky skin Red eyes and puffy rims Same deadly demons, know everything ‘bout you Can’t hide that dark mind That black heart either. Cast for eternity over my unfortunate soul A spell that can’t overcome, that is concealed Masquerading as wondered, they overflood dreams However, are lies, in occasional disguise Their dream, their nightmares, their demons of the soul They’re not done with me, yet their coming for you

Demons of the Night
Life as we know it Comes to an end Lies they tell Scatter away In a pit of darkness With faint memories Your pride you shall drown in And whispers of dreams
