Phonemes, words, and morphs of words are colors and shapes moving within me- sometimes a connect- sometimes a disconnect waiting to latch on to a new thought I didn't even know was growing inside. As long as I open my mind, and don't shut off the stream of ideas out of fear of what might be exposed, my muse speaks to me. Sometimes my words are silenced cos my brain needs to feel the moment, but there is poetry in all my seconds that pass. I'm a proud mommy of two daughters, a collector of music, a therapist trying to advocate for communication independence, & a freelance writer just doing this one day at a time.
